Former Doctor Faces Sexual Assault Allegations Involving 38 Patients
Legal authorities report that a ex- physician now faces charges for carrying out sexual assaults involving thirty-eight individuals who were under his care.
Details of the Grave Charges
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of numerous acts of sexual assault – including some against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 and 2021.
A deputy chief prosecutor commented, “Legal teams have worked at length to support a thorough and intricate investigation, meticulously examining the available evidence to determine that there is a strong case to proceed to trial and that it is in the public interest.”
Scope of the Police Inquiry
These allegations follow what investigators described as a “complex investigation” into reported assaults at medical facilities: the Royal Stoke university hospital and Russells Hall hospital.
Spencer is due to appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th.

The charging documents outline the forty-five sexual offences include:
- 15 counts of sexual assault.
- Seventeen counts of assault by penetration.
- Nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- Three counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration.
- 1 count of attempted penetrative assault.
